Chef/ owner Dave attended Dumas Pere L'Ecole de Cuisine culinary School, Glenview, Illinois in 1985, while working at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Chicago. He then studied in Lyon, France with Michelin 2-star Chef Michel Chabran. After returning to Chicago in 1987. Dave worked as a chef at D&J Bistro in Lake Zurch Shortly thereafter, he helped open Retro Bistro, MT. Prospect chef at The America Club, the Midwest's only 5-Diamond resort, then retuned to Chicago with his wife and 2kids to open Dave's Specialty Foods.Dave has won culinary awards, appeared on television and has been featured on radio programs.He has hosted many cooking classes through out the Chicago-land area and Wisconsin.Specializing in catering for small to big events even in your own home.
